Club pleased with high rating from Food Standards Agency

11 September 2015

Mansfield Town Football Club is pleased to have a high rating of 'four out of five' for food and hygiene, awarded by the government's Food Standards Agency.

The club maintains the highest possible standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the organisation.

A recent report by an online national newspaper refers to an out-of-date rating, with details being noted from a previous inspection at the club.

For purposes of clarity, the club has never employed anyone named Clive Robinson as hospitality manager or in any other role at the club, as quoted in the aforementioned article.

Since the last inspection by the Food Standards Agency on 21 July 2015, the club has been awarded a rating of ‘four out of five’ by the government department, as can be seen here on their official website.

Mansfield Town Football Club is highly content with the level of cleanliness, food preparation and hygiene and we aim to obtain a maximum rating of ‘five-out-of-five’ after the next visit from the Food Standards Agency.

The club takes food hygiene very seriously and our good rating reflects this.
